RR Shays Gem is a very deep bodied mare with exceptional bone and foot. She is a full sister to Peponita O Shay, a gelding we raised that is currently winning 1D Barrel Racing Jackpots in Texas. She is also out of a mare we raised by our Peponita stud (see stallion section).
RR Shays Gem currently has a tremendous sorrel stud colt at her side by My Own League (Smart Little Lena x Peppys From Heaven). This colt is all there, strong, athletic, and quick footed!! He also has a coon tail, and lots of roaning in his flank and belly, as well as between his front legs. He is offered for sale this year at our 13th Annual Foal Production Sale held Saturday, September 8, 2012.
RR Shays Gem is bred back to Lucky Wild Card Jack for a 2013 foal.
