This mare is full of talent and athleticism. She’s a huge stopper and can come through herself with hardly any effort at all. Rated PG was shown very successfully in cutting by Gerry Hansma and Kims Lady Doc was 9th at the AQHA World Show ridden by Morgan Lybbert.
Most recently, Clint Swales trained and showed a full brother to Rated A Lady – named Pure Latigo, at the NRCHA World Finals in Stephenville, Texas and won the Limited Open Hackamore. Trainers like Brad Pedersen, Les Timmons, John Swales, and Clint Swales have all ridden offspring out of Kims Lady Doc. 2012 has proved to be another successful year for the famous team of Clint Swales and Pure Latigo. They battled and won the Reserve Champion Open Bridle class at the 100th Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede. This was accomplished showing against world class competition!
Rated A Lady currently has a tremendous 2012 sorrel filly at her side sired by our stallion Smokin Rum. This is Lady’s 3rd foal by Smokin Rum, and we feel it could be a magic cross. We certainly have been extremely happy with the qualilty and outcome from this fine mare. Her 2012 sorrel filly is offered for sale at our 13th Annual Foal Production Sale held this year on Saturday, September 8, 2012.
Rated A Lady is bred back to Smokin Rum for a 2013 foal.
